Gav
McCall is certainly no newcomer to the dance music scene.
Having been in and around the industry for many years
now, Gav's production skills have exceeded many expectations
confirming and securing his place on the production
circuit for years to come.
Alongside
his own record label, Born to Dance Records, Gav's determination
and passion has now firmly established himself as a
DJ / Producer and has put Born to Dance on the dance
music map.
Gav and
his production team's (Superlative), first remix of
"Show Me Love" by Valerie M, was eagerly snapped
up by Miss Moneypennys, Music To Dance To Volume 1 mixed
compilation album. Superlative's remix of "Let
It Shine" by Lux'x appeared on Volume 2 of the
Music To Dance To compilation series. This new production
team are really living up to their name by finally receiving
superlative reports from the likes of DJ magazine giving
them the support that they deserve.
Gav's first
solo production is a superb cover of "I'M ALRIGHT".
"I'M ALRIGHT" started life back in 1990/1
originally and hit the UK charts at No.3. Since the
first release there have been a few remakes & remixes
including one by legendary DJ / Producer Joey Negro,
however none quite seem to match the imagination and
spin of Gav McCall's new 2005 mix.
The
recreation of this timeless classic has brought "I'm
Alright" right up to date. It truly is a peak-time
anthem that will have arms raised, bums grooving and
people singing "I'm Alright"!
With future remixes from The Freemasons in the pipeline,
we strongly believe that this is going to be big!
Remix
- The Soulseekerz
The Soul
Seekerz have had previous chart success with leading
vocalist Dannii Minogue & the track “Perfection”
(AATW). Currently working closely with Subliminal records
& engaging in high profile remixes for the likes
of Pink, its clear to see why The Soul Seekerz are one
of the hottest production / DJ teams around at the moment.
