Redchord
have come back with an exceptional release, that when
blasted through a big system, the dead will rise and
start rocking.
"SubDub"
is a well-produced deep atmospheric house track, with
incredible melodic sounds, that could almost be from
a different planet. The hooky electronic vocal draws
you into the "SubDub" voyage.
THE
STORY SO FAR: "RADIO 1" NUMBER 1
The
worldwide listeners and viewers of Pete Tongs Radio1
OneMusic website, voted this masterpiece into the Radio
1 OneMusic Top Ten for an incredible six months. "SubDub"
reached the Number One position in the Top 10 on numerous
occasions, so as you can see it is not just Redchord
that think "SubDub" is a wicked track.
PEOPLE
BEHIND THE TRACK
"SubDub"
was written & produced by Phil Feeney and Kev Murphy
(A.K.A Kempes). These two gifted lads from Scotland
have been Dj'ing, running club nights and experimenting
with music since the mid 90's. The music that influences
the Kempes, stimulates the imagination and must have
a little edge. They describe their own music as "crossover
dance based grooves, with catchy hooks".
REMIXES
Remixed
by DJ Reza show us he’s in a class of his own,
with previous mixes that he has done for Toka (‘Cathouse’)
with terrific support from K-Klass, Tom Wainwright and
Martin McFly feat. Caroline Howe (‘I Need Release’).
This lad is a gifted one with releases under Underwater
(compilation) Refunkt, Kidology, Fresh Fruit and Sunflower
Records. To add to his exceptional line-up, he’s
had superb DJ support from Darren Emerson, Lottie, to
Seb Fontaine (to mention a few!). Several radio stations
including Kiss and Galaxy FM have played his work, which
has been charted many times. Having had reviews by both
DJ Mag and BBM Mag, lookout for this upcoming fellow
because he’s rising to the top with the speed
of a jaguar…
