JJ has recently enjoyed the #1 position on The UK Top 40 having remixed Eric Prydz 'Call On Me' and just a few weeks earlier the Top 6 hit, StoneBridge featuring Therese 'Put 'Em High' (Hed Kandi). JJ was also responsible for the remix of Peyton's Higher Place
(Hed Kandi) and the forthcoming Mix 2 Inside 'So 4 Real' on Born To Dance Records.

Born To Dance Records has been blessed with a fantastic remix of this truly superb vocal house track, "So 4 Real". This is sure to burn a hole in every deck.

Originally written by Mix2inside (AKA Bordin S, Dario Igor) and Joyce E Yuille, it’s exclusively licensed to Born To Dance. Mix2inside and JJ Stockholm are behind these promising remixes capturing the summer sounds of 2004.

Our last release with Mix2inside, ‘My Best Thing’, received mass support from

Tom Findlay (Groove Armada), Graeme Parks,CJ Mackintosh, Stonebridge just to name a few!

We also featured in M8, DJ Mag, Mixmag, TTR Magazine, and many more…

‘So 4 Real’ includes four breathtaking mixes that will create a funkadelic frenzy on every club floor:

Mix2inside quench your thirst and whip up a cool summer vibe with their ‘Soul-Dub Classic’.

‘R2R Electrodub mix’ is running on 240 volts and will require a minimum of 25k sound system to take this bass line.

‘Matteo Ionescu’s Sad mix’ lays down the rules when luring the ladies onto the dance floor.

Mr Bord’s is definitely in ‘DaHouse’ with a funked up bass line and hypnotic sax notes.

REMIX:

JJ Stockholm’s remix is in the official UK charts at no. 6 for StoneBridge feat. Therese 'Put 'Em High' (Hed Kandi), as used by Top of the Pops & Radio 1.

He’s also worked on mixes for Peyton’s ' A Higher Place'.

REACTIONS:

Jon Fitz, Galaxy - Manchester - Nice track; think it's warm and appealing. 12/20.

Jay C, In Bed With Space, Miss Moneypennys, Savannah Funky Lounge - Ibiza - The 'R2R Electrodub' works well in the harder clubs. Wicked!! In my chart at number 9.

Kev Hill, The Freedom Principle @ The Club Radio Network - Very nicely revamped indeed. JJ has really transformed the track further! Is there a buzz on this record? There will be! Preferred mixes: A1&2. Charted no. 12 for the 'Soul-Dub Classic Mix2inside' mix in his Hype Chart for w/e 13/04/04, no. 32 on w/e 27/04/04, and no. 33 on w/e 04/05/04, and no. 7 in his 'Hype Chart' for 20/09/04

Chris Brophy, CMP, Party Radio New York, Bluestone FM, IMR Vision FM - Prefer the 'Classic Mix2inside' mix. Kinda tune I would play at the start of a mix.

DJ M Patterson, C.O.F. Room/ Paradox/ Colours - Loved the 'JJ Stockholm' mixes of 'So 4 Real'. Charted no. 20 in his 'Cool Cut Chart' on 26/09/04.

Rob J Passow, Disciples of Sound - Lovely little track with superb vox. Nice range of mixes too makes this an easy song. Very useable.

DJ Vertigo (Saku Harjunpää), Club/ Radio/ Press: Cafe Del Raum, Club Diva, Finland - JJ is fuuuunkyy dope : Keep up the vibe… Preferred mixes: A1 and playing it in the back room and bars.

DJ Kenn, Belgium/ France - Nice part 2 with a lovely 'JJ' retouch but I prefer Mix2inside's 'Soul Dub Classic Mix'. The full vocal mix on part 1 still does it for me!

Matt Masters, Sunsea, Privilege and El Divinos, Ibiza - I prefer the 'Soul-Dub Classic'; nice bass line and cool breakdown. Charted 10/20.

Matt Vinyl, Resident DJ/Producer @ Claires Nightclub, Club Enigma, Platform, (Devon) and Vestingstad FM, Netherlands - Playing the 'JJ Dub' - wicked!!!

Garry Barker, Macy's & The Deck - Good quality. Sounds like 'Tall & Handsome' from the 90's. Fave mix: JJ Stockholm - Vocal Mix'

Simon Rugg, The Hub 1449AM - I like the keys on the 'JJ Stockholm Mix'. Another good release from Mix2inside.

Paul McDermott,
Club/Radio/Press: Head of Music - 107.5 LUSH FM (University of Leicester)
Founder & Resident - "MUFFIN" @ Parody, Leicester, Founder & Resident - "RESUSCITATION" @ Wyvern, Leicester
Continuing the solid form, this is another killer release. The Soul-Dub and R2R mixes are tearing up dance floors every time I drop them, and the Ionescu and Bord mixes have been well received as well. Once again Born to Dance will be gracing the daily playlists of LUSH FM. Keep up this quality - you're always pick-of-the-pile.

DJ MIDI, Radio and Club DJ.
JJ confirms his class with his style being very different.
I really like the Soul Dub Classic but I prefer the Electrodub mix.
No. 8 in chart.

Ashley Fudge, Revolution, Fez Club, Minster FM - Although some of the tracks aren't suitable, don't get put off. I dig the JJ Stockholm mixes; I also like the Mr. Bord's in DaHouse Mix.

Andy Morgan, Oasis Nightclub
This is a really good soulful house track, fantastic for the warm up and may become a floor filler in the next month once people get used to me playing it constantly. On a personal note, R2R Electro Dub mix is great buy JJ Stockholm's vocal mix is the one. Great tune!

Matteo Esse, DJ Magazine, Hype Chart Contributer
JJ Stockholm turns up this feel good vibe, gospel/soulful house tune into a monster track that drives the crowd into a frenzy. Very good indeed.

The Sharp Boys, Orange/AM/Anarchy/Element/Beyond/Sharp Recordings
It's good - not major for us - but it's in the box for club spins.
