Born
To Dance Records is coming at you with chillout tracks
that have a soothing & mellow feel! 'Born To Chill'
has 9 tracks; tracks 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are written
and produced by 'Skye'. They're formed by the talented
duo, Dan Hewson & the sublime singing voice of
Anna Morris. Their 5 piece live band with a full range
of instruments has played at various venues and had
a dazzling array of reviews.
Dan Hewson was co-founder of the progressive house
band 'The Beat Foundation' and released 'Save Me'
(1996), a house classic championed by the likes of
Sasha and Digweed. Since then, he's written for Groove
Armada and continued his long-term partnership with
them. He's also written/remixed for Madonna, Electric
Boutique, The Art of Noise and Bizarre Inc. Dan met
Anna in London at a pop video session in 2001. They
decided to bring together their talents to form the
band and their debut EP, 'Shades of Blue', was an
immediate success despite being produced in a modest
studio. Their tracks will take you on the ultimate
chillout trip accompanied by haunting vocals and symphonic
strings. Cranking up the beat and switchin' the heat
on, 'Hypnotise' saw 'Skye' propelled onto the dance
floors and into DJ sets.
Anna
Morris is a talented soul; a singer-songwriter and
violinist playing with celebrated artists such as
Moby, Zero 7, David Gray and The Manic Street Preachers,
and appearances on the Jools Holland Show (BBC2) and
The Big Chill 2002.
Their style is a combo of dubby beats that can fill
the room and vocals to light up the night. They're
moving to a higher plain, fuelling their desire to
make true quality music that really rocks.

Patterson (aka 'Superlative') with Neil Sedaka, are
a new production team living up to their name by receiving

Track
No.9 was written & produced by Phil Feeney and
Kev Murphy (A.K.A Kempes). These two gifted lads from
Scotland have been Dj'ing, running club nights and
experimenting with music since the mid 90's. The music
that influences Kempes, stimulates the imagination
and must have a little edge.
