What a storming release Born To Dance has in store for you this time & it comes with plenty of mixes available to wet anyone's appetite. "Let it Shine" has that commercial club cross over feel that even your parents would love. The lead vocals which were sang by Debbie Sharp are to die for, this is accompanied by a choir sent from heaven singing an uplifting chorus, the melodic strings, the smooth rhodes and some wicked bass lines, all complement the mixes available of this magnificent track.

After our mini promotions over the Ibiza closing parties period "Let it Shine" was dropped in clubs such as Pacha, Space, Bora Bora, El Divino's and many more. DJ Bobby D' Ambrosio from Def Mix gave the StoneBridge Club mix the thumbs up and saying it's wicked and that he loves it.

"Let it Shine" was written & mixed by the very talented Father and Son production team Richard & Dan Hewson (AKA Lux'x). Richard has many years experience in the music industry & a history to be proud of, back in the 60's he worked with James Taylor, Herbie Hancock and he arranged the infamous Beatles hit "The Long and Windy Road" and also Mary Hopkins "Those Were The Days". Richard's fame as an arranger spread rapidly and in the 70s he continued his quest to work along side the big names of the music industry, such as Supertramp, Carly Simon, Diana Ross, Al Stewart, Art Garfunkle, Leo Sayer, Fleetwood Mac and Chirs Rea. Richard then moved in to producing his own music in the mid 70's, after gaining his vast experience, Richard formed the extremely successful Rah Band in 1976; within a year they had their first hit "The Crunch". By the early 80's, the Rah Band were soon topping the charts with a string of UK top 40 hits & number a 1 hit "Clouds across the moon". In the 80's Richard worked with Toyah, Five Star and Shakin Stevens, no it doesn't stop there in 1993 Richard headed straight into the charts once again with yet an other number 1 hit, with Key West "I Think I'm Falling In Love Again" this track managed to stay at number 1 for six weeks. Dan who has followed in his father's footsteps has remixed for Madonna, Electric Boutique and he presently working with a Groove Armada, so watch out for this dynamic production team.

Let it shine has also been blessed with some outstanding remixes by the highly acclaimed DJ/producer StoneBridge whose productions and remixes have made him a well established name all over the world, from London to New York to Moscow. StoneBridge began international remixing for artists such as De La Soul and Titiyo. His first UK club hit was his own Jazzy John's Freestyle Dub in 1990, which came out on Camden independent Zoom. This was to be followed by Ann Consuelo's "See The Day" on Champion 1992 which together with his mix of Rebel MC "The Wickedest Sound" this was StoneBridge's break in the UK. In the same year StoneBridge moved on to become a major force in clubland remixing Robin S "Show Me Love", which subsequently became a Top 5 hit in both the UK and US. After years of remixing, StoneBridge reinvented himself as a DJ and Producer. In 1997 StoneBridge continued to produce a wide variety of artists such as Tatyana Ali & Will Smith's UK No.3 hit single, "Boy You Knock Me Out", which he also co-wrote the productions of "Stand In Love" and "Never Been Kissed" for Dance Diva Kristine W. He has also worked with Melanie C, Texas, Dario G, Roxette, Milky & last but not least Simple Minds.
Our new kids on the block Superlative present you with a slightly tougher mix of "Let it Shine".
