To put it simply, Chriss’s house, electro & trance fusions & unmistakable & truly unique making him a big player to watch out for!

Over the last few years Chriss has been creating waves in all the right places having remixed for the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Roger Sanchez, Cascada, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Robbie Rivera, Laurent Wolf, StoneBridge, Arias & R.I.O to name but a few. With tracks & remixes under his belt for Ministry Of Sound, Hed Kandi, Vandit, Armada & Kontor etc, it’s clear to see how & why his sound has picked up by the worlds DJ elite & spread like wildfire, engaging audiences the world over.

Based in Recklinghausen Germany, Ortega, a master of the Saxophone, Piano & E-bass, Chriss continues in his search for that ingenious hook or the perfect beat picking up new influences & ideas where ever he goes.

Not content with his success so far, Chriss founded his own record label, Groovebox Recordings in 2009. With tracks being signed to labels & compilations worldwide, it just goes to show what a talent Ortega possess.

And f course, it doesn’t stop there... In 2007, Chriss was the MOST sought after DJ in Russia with countless bookings backed up by one of the busiest touring schedules you can imagine. From Russia, to the USA, Canada to France, Brazil to Switzerland, Dubai to the UK and everywhere in between, Chriss Ortega has been supplying the soundtrack to thousands of fans week in week out. Combined with his Club 3001 residency in Düsseldorf, Chriss’s technical ability his second to none & continually transforms the crowd & rocks the dance floor wherever he goes! More recently, Chriss has been working with long time friend CJ Stone & together, under their Ortega & Stone alias. The first single “Redlight” was snapped up by Pilot 6 (Armada Music) with the follow up single out very soon along with a string of high profile remixes!

2010 is a new year and with a new year comes new projects & possibilities. With Chriss’s relentless drive & motivation to succeed combined with his DJ, producer & label genius, the year looks very promising!!
