Where shall I start??? The weather wasn’t exactly what you’d call perfect, but the vibe around Brighton was strong & with another Born To Dance night looming, expectations were running high….
And those expectations were yet again exceeded by both Born To Dance & their ever growing dedicated fans. The seafront was a tad on the quiet side but when the last minute word got around that Born To Dance were back, 600 up for it party heads piled through the door by 12:30!!

Andy Quest & KJ Clancy got things off to a kicking start in the main room with some fine funky flavours while upstairs Carl Hanaghan dropped hi usually blend of vocal hooked classics to a very appreciative arch crowd.
Fast growing Brighton hero Gav McCall took to the stage to step things up a gear. Dropping tunes like “Dirty Old Ann” & his own “I’m Alright” created a storm inside the club making the drizzle outside seem like the beaches of St Tropez.

Special guests The SoulSeekerz stepped up to take the reigns at 2:30am with some chunky bumpin’ house music to keep the crowd grooving. “Put Your Hands Up For Detroit” & Pryda’s “Aftermath” were the stand out tracks from this set, both causing a massive surge of excitement in the room.
Meanwhile the now packed out arch was partying harder than ever before with Carl Hanaghan & Jo Mitchell supplying the funky beats keeping the crowd hooked on their every move.

4:30am & we rejoin the main room after the SoulSeekerz finale for a few last minute rockers including Sharam ‘Party All The Time’ & The Egg. What a F#*king night – The 2nd busiest the Zap have experienced in their 18 yr history!! And yes we will return again…….& again……. & again.

Next night – Saturday 14th October @ The Zap with THE FREEMASONS!! This one will be even busier!
