Saturday 28 th January saw the Born To Dance team take our now infamous Brighton club night onto pastures new expanding our mini empire….
The setting – Eastbourne, The venue - The Townhouse, The people – Up for it party people, The team – Armed with 12inch slabs of pure madness. Decked out with all the glam, disco balls, drapes, lighting & the ever growing crowd it was clear this was going to busy even before the night started @ 8pm!!
8pm & Born To Dance Resident scamps Dave Bonner & Carl Hanaghan start the ball rolling going B2B playing Soulful, Vocal, Funky, some may even say - Sexy house music. However you describe it, it worked! The girls were dancing, the boys followed closely ensuring a pack floor for the Born To Dance head honcho, Gav McCall.
Gav arrives to take the stage @ 10 with rapturous applause. Straight away proving why he is the boss. Tough, Funky Vocal house music lead the packed Townhouse into madness – Gav McCall, madder than most, dancing for anyone who wasn't or couldn't.
After an hour & a half of pure energy from Gav, he retires back to Born To Dance HQ leaving those Lovable Rogues Dave Bonner & Carl Hanaghan to finish what they had started. Twisting & turning between Electro, Tech-House, Funky Sexy Vocals, & pretty much anything else that could be squeezed in, was!
Overall outcome, great music, great people, new friends & even more determination to take Born To Dance higher & further than before.
